Manchester City have been found guilty of all but one of the 115 alleged breaches of Premier League financial rules, the club confirmed on Friday.
The independent tribunal found the Premier League had proved 114 of the 115 charges brought against the Etihad Stadium club, upholding the majority of the case brought by the league.
The charges
The allegations centred on the period between 2010 and 2018 and included valued sponsorship deals, misreported player-related costs and payments to a football agent linked to a 2016 Champions League winning campaign.
The club denied wrongdoing throughout the proceedings, describing the case as one that had damaged trust in the sport.
What happens next
A hearing on the sanction will be scheduled separately, with the Premier League confirming that a points deduction and other measures remain on the table.
115 charges is absurd. Football really needs reform.
