The Blue Eagles demonstrated their attacking quality and determination in a fiercely contested encounter, scoring a dramatic late winner to claim all three points and strengthen their position in the league title race.
The visitors made a flying start to the contest, taking the lead in the 21st minute through Habeeb Adeniran before Malik Fatai doubled their advantage just four minutes later to put Gbagada firmly in control.
However, Beyond Limits responded almost immediately. Peter Oyeniran pulled one back in the 26th minute, giving the defending champions renewed belief.
Oyeniran then struck again in the 32nd minute, completing his brace and bringing Beyond Limits level at 2-2 in an entertaining first half.
Both sides continued to battle for supremacy after the restart, with Gbagada determined to maintain their attacking threat while Beyond Limits searched for a breakthrough that could turn the contest in their favour.
Just as the encounter appeared to be heading towards a draw, Gbagada found the decisive moment in the 68th minute.
Gome Namene stepped up to score the winning goal, restoring the visitors' advantage and silencing the home supporters.
Beyond Limits attempted to respond in the closing stages but Gbagada held firm to protect their lead and secure a memorable 3-2 victory.
The result represents a significant statement of intent from Gbagada in the race for the TCC League title, particularly against a Beyond Limits side that has established itself as one of the competition's most successful teams.
The victory also takes Gbagada back to the top of the league standings with 18 points from eight matches, while Beyond Limits remain fifth with 12 points.
For Gbagada head coach Akinyelu Olajide, the result will be a major boost following his confident pre-match assessment of his team's attacking capabilities.
Beyond Limits, meanwhile, will have to regroup quickly after suffering a painful home defeat despite fighting back from two goals down to level the contest.
Attention now turns to another meeting between the sides, with Gbagada FC scheduled to host Beyond Limits in the TCC Cup on Friday, November 6, at Legacy Pitch, Surulere.
After Monday's dramatic encounter, their next meeting promises another exciting chapter in this growing rivalry.
